April is Heartworm & Lyme Awareness Month
Heartworm and tick‑borne diseases are prevalent in Pennsylvania, but early testing and year‑round prevention can keep your dog safe. Learn the symptoms to watch for, how these diseases spread, and where dog-owners can access testing and prevention support.
Professional Resilience Training
Many helping professionals begin searching for professional resilience training when the work they care deeply about starts to feel unsustainable. Burnout, compassion fatigue, and cumulative stress can quietly erode well-being and effectiveness, even among skilled and dedicated practitioners.

What to Expect From a Personal reflective Retreat
A personal reflective retreat offers protected time and space to slow down, listen inwardly, and reconnect with what matters most. Rather than focusing on productivity or self-improvement, the intention is presence, restoration, and meaningful reflection.
What to Expect From a Trauma-Informed Team Building Experience
At Indraloka, trauma-informed team building is shaped in relationship with rescued animals. These animals are not props or activities. Awards and Nominations
We’re proud to report that the GFAS has announced Indraloka’s Indra Lahiri as the recipient of this year’s Carole Noon award. We’re also a finalist for the 2024 SAGE People’s Choice Award, so please read here for more information on how to help us win!
Trap, Neuter, Release (TNR)
We advocate for the protection of feral cat colonies through participation in TNR programs. The NEPA Rescue Veterinary Clinic at Indraloka (570-665-9215) provides TNR services for feral cats for just $137 per cat. Appointments are required and cats must be brought in a trap. Each appointment includes surgery, ear tipping, and vaccinations. You can safely return the cat to their colony knowing that you have helped them live a healthier life.
