RESILIENT COUNSELORS MASTERY SERIES – SUMMER COHORTS
Thanks to the generous support of The Moses Taylor Foundation and the Scranton Area Community Foundation, therapists, counselors, caseworkers, social workers, and other mental health professionals can rejuvenate their practice and well-being by joining the Resilient Counselors Mastery Series—now accepting applications for our Summer 2025 Cohort.

Why This Matters
Burnout, compassion fatigue, and vicarious trauma are pervasive challenges in the mental health profession.
The Resilient Counselors Mastery Series offers a transformative experience designed to help you reconnect with your purpose, replenish your energy, and enhance your resilience.
Through immersive retreats and personalized coaching, you’ll gain practical tools to sustain your well-being and effectiveness in your vital role.
WHAT TO EXPECT
This summer, we’re introducing a refreshed format that maintains our core objectives while offering a more immersive experience:
3 in-person retreats:
Begin with a kickoff retreat, delve deeper during a mid-series retreat, and conclude with a celebratory retreat.
Each retreat will cover essential topics on resilience, self-care, and professional sustainability and will include homework related to trying new self care techniques.
Retreats are scheduled from 9:30 to 3:30 on June 27, July 11, and July 25.
Two Individual Coaching Sessions:
Between retreats, you’ll engage in 30-minute virtual one-on-one coaching sessions tailored to support your personal and professional growth.
Comprehensive Curriculum:
The series covers evidence-based strategies for managing stress, preventing burnout, and fostering compassion satisfaction, all within a supportive community of peers, and has garnered impressive, measurable reductions in burnout and compassion fatigue among participants.
COMMITMENT AND COST
Participation in the Resilient Counselors Mastery Series is offered at no cost to the first 16 successful applicants, thanks to generous grant funding from The Moses Taylor Foundation and the Scranton Area Community Foundation.
To secure a spot, selected participants must submit a refundable $150 deposit, which will be returned upon completion of the program.
Completion includes attending all three retreats, participating in both 1:1 coaching sessions, and submitting pre- and post-assessment
Additional Spaces Available!
We welcome applications beyond the initial 16 grant-funded spots. If accepted, additional participants may join by paying tuition on a sliding scale based on practice size:
$750 – Solo practitioners or small practices (1–3 clinicians)
$1,000 – Mid-sized practices (4–10 clinicians)
$1,250 – Larger practices or organizations (11+ clinicians or institutional settings)
This tiered tuition structure ensures accessibility while supporting program sustainability. If you’re unsure which category your practice falls into, we’re happy to help you determine your rate during the application process.
