RESILIENT COUNSELORS
WINTER COHORTS

Thanks to the generous support of The Moses Taylor Foundation and the Scranton Area Community Foundation, therapists, counselors, caseworkers, social workers, and other mental health professionals can kick off 2025 with more compassion satisfaction, less burnout, and fewer “I-just-can’t” days by joining the Resilient Counselors Mastery Series—and it’s completely free to participate!

Why This is a Big Deal

Let’s face it—burnout, compassion fatigue, and vicarious trauma are sneaky little gremlins wreaking havoc on the helping professions.

This program is here to help your team fight back.

With a mix of cutting-edge research, joyful activities with animals, nature-inspired healing, and some soul-soothing practices, participants walk away with real results:

  • Increased energy and job satisfaction
  • Improved resilience in the face of challenges
  • Renewed passion for their work (and fewer Monday meltdowns)

We’ve seen lives transformed by this program. Let’s make sure your team is next.

What’s the Catch?

(Spoiler: There Isn’t One)

This program is open to all mental health professionals who are ready to recharge and build resilience. Priority will go to those working in nonprofit organizations or public schools serving under-resourced communities, but we welcome folks from for-profits, government agencies, and other schools too.

Participants will need to commit to:

  • Attending and fully participating in all sessions (except for the optional personal retreat—no pressure!).
  • Completing some light pre- and post-session surveys (10-20 minutes max—we promise).
  • Trying out self-care homework, like journaling or 30-minute reading assignments.

Our in-person retreats are held in Indraloka’s cozy, heated Art Barn—think steaming hot beverages, healthy snacks, creative activities, and candid conversations.

Participants can unwind with chair massages, gentle movement, and quick outdoor forays to hang with the animals. Oh, and lunch? Delicious and healthy—always.

The Optional Personal Retreat offers a unique and tranquil escape, designed to provide participants with solitary, unstructured time to unwind and reconnect with themselves in the serene setting of our sanctuary.

Midway through the series, participants will be welcomed to indulge in a day of peaceful reflection and self-care.
