ADOPTABLE ANIMALS
We understand how hard it is when you have an animal who needs help or needs a new home. Indraloka Animal Sanctuary receives hundreds of requests for help with animal placement each year. While we wish we could accommodate every placement request, we do not have the space, staff or funding to support every animal in need.
Rescuing and caring for farm animals is a serious responsibility and often requires significant time and financial efforts to ensure proper care.
For prospective adopters:
We created this page to highlight some of the animals we’ve been contacted about in need of new homes. The animals featured here have not been rescued by Indraloka Animal Sanctuary, but they are in need of forever homes. While we are happy to share this information, you will be responsible for contacting the person listed and arranging appropriate transport and quarantine for an animal you’d like to adopt.

If you need to find a new home for an animal:
By agreeing to have an animal listed for adoption, you agree to screen for qualifications and meet with potential adopters to find the animal a proper home. Indraloka is not able to help with screening potential adopters, or arranging quarantine or transportation, unless in emergency or dire circumstances. So that you can be contacted directly by potential adopters, please list the best way to reach you, but be aware that this information will be posted on our website. Once an animal is placed, please contact us so that we can remove the listing.
Please note: We are not able to provide emergency care, assist with wildlife or help place dogs or cats. Indraloka Animal Sanctuary is happy to provide advice on housing, feed, and healthcare needs for farm animals in your care. If you have a question about caring for a farm animal, please feel free to contact us by email at info@indraloka.org or by phone at 570-763-2908.
If you need to rehome an animal, please fill out our Animal Surrender Application. We will be in touch with further questions or next steps regarding placement assistance.
