    2025 ThanksLiving Celebration

    ThanksLiving: A Celebration for Turkeys is an annual celebration held in early November of each year. Guests enjoy a heartwarming ceremony where they surprise the turkeys and other bird residents of Indraloka with a Thanksgiving feast created specifically for them – including cranberries, raw pumpkin pie, pumpkin seeds, spinach salad, blueberries, and other healthy and delicious treats. After, guests enjoy a catered lunch, live music, a raffle, a silent auction, and more.

    Monthly Meditation with the Animals – November

    Indraloka Animal Sanctuary 336 Oak Drive, Dalton, PA

    **Registration is required**

    Step into the sanctuary and into a deeper sense of peace with Monthly Meditation with the Animals, a unique opportunity to rest, recharge, and reconnect in the healing presence of rescued farm animals. Held on the last Wednesday of each month at 5:00 PM, each session offers a gentle and supportive space for personal reflection and care.

  • Youth Volunteer Day

    Indraloka Animal Sanctuary 336 Oak Drive, Dalton, PA

    **Registration is required**

    No school? Sign up for Youth Volunteer days where kids will learn the art of mucking stalls, sorting produce, sweeping floors, and other lifelong skills. Volunteering creates a sense of community and purpose and reinforces traits like responsibility and empathy. Volunteer days will reinforce teamwork skills in order to beautify barns, keep animals safe and healthy, and learn about animal care. Snacks will be provided.

    Nurture and Nourish: Caroling and Cow Birthday Bash

    Indraloka Animal Sanctuary 336 Oak Drive, Dalton, PA

    **Registration is required**

    Serenade the animals with secular winter carols while touring the sanctuary, decorate cow “birthday cakes,” and of course sing Happy Birthday to the birthday cows! Participants will also enjoy a plant-based treat in the Art Barn after the tour. There is no religious component to this event.

  • December Self-Care Saturday: Winter Solstice Meditation Walk

    Indraloka Animal Sanctuary 336 Oak Drive, Dalton, PA

    **Registration is required**

    Join us for 2 hours of R&R with the beloved rescued farm animals at Indraloka, optional nature walk around the perimeter of the sanctuary, outdoor meditation space, healthy snack, and space to simply, BE.

  • Winter Camp

    Indraloka Animal Sanctuary 336 Oak Drive, Dalton, PA

    **Registration is required**

    Sign up by the day for $35, or the whole week for $150! Lunch and snacks are included, hot cocoa bar, festive treats, and winter art projects planned for each day, all in the warm heated Art Barn. Coats are REQUIRED. We will play inside and outside, and we encourage dressing in layers and bringing snow gear if weather allows for snuggling sheep, tossing snowballs, handing out treats, and more. Each day will include time with the animals, and activities will vary for a full week of fun. Come play, celebrate, unplug, and snuggle animals!
