Indra Lahiri, PhD

In 2005, Indra founded the Indraloka Animal Sanctuary with the intention of providing heaven on earth for farm animals. Almost fifteen years later, she’s rescued thousands of animals worldwide from dire situations, many of whom now call Indraloka their forever home.
Indra has spoken to tens of thousands of people globally about topics like human-animal communication, ethical leadership, and compassion for all beings—be it as a keynote speaker, mentor, coach, consultant, or teacher. Her talks are founded on her years of sanctuary leadership experience.


Sarah Thornton
Director of Education
Sarah Thornton, Director of Education, has presented to crowds of all sizes ranging in age from preschool 3 year olds to senior citizens on advocacy topics, animal stories, and uplifting renderings of growth and healing. Presentations have included Animal Stories of Resilience and Connection, Motivating the Next Generation of Advocates, Integrating Sanctuary Animal Stories into the Public School Classroom and Beyond, and Animals Are Teachers, Too! Sarah engages her crowd by integrating active and passive participation, educational application, and emotional connectivity in a creative and skillful way.

Robin Olson
Director of Development
Robin Olson, Director of Development is a skilled relationship builder and fundraiser, raising tens of millions of dollars for children’s and medical charities. She holds an Executive MBA from St. Joseph’s University, Bachelor’s degrees in English and Marketing from Saint Louis University. She has shared her expertise with other non-profit organizations and advocacy groups who are interested in advancing their missions through spreading their message to others in ways that are receptive and engaging. Her nearly 20 years in non-profit fundraising ranges from large, well-established, national organizations to very small, grassroots organizations who are just getting started. Her presentations focus on practical tips and real-world examples from her own experiences fundraising for Make-A-Wish and Junior Achievement.
