The Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries’ Carole Noon Award is given annually to an individual who embodies and puts into practice the GFAS philosophy of vision, dedication, and excellence in animal care at sanctuaries. The award is named after the late Dr. Carole Noon, a courageous and innovative sanctuary pioneer and champion of chimpanzees. We’re proud to report that the GFAS has announced Indraloka’s Indra Lahiri as the recipient of this year’s award.
Indraloka has also been nominated as a finalist for the 2024 SAGE (the Scranton Awards for Growth and Excellence) Non-Profit Organization of the Year. The winner will be announced during the SAGE Awards Gala on November 1st.
We are truly honored by both of these opportunities. Your continued commitment to our mission is helping spread the word about all Indraloka and our beloved rescued farm animals do for our community.
