Sanctuary/Shelter Veterninarian
Indraloka Animal Sanctuary, a GFAS and ASA-accredited sanctuary, is home to approximately 300 farm animals. At Indraloka they are given lifelong safety, personalized care, love, and enrichment. These animals require a great deal of veterinary care, especially when first rescued and in their old age. Nearby Griffin Pond Animal Shelter takes in and adopts out approximately 1,500 companion animals annually. Together, Indraloka and Griffin Pond are seeking a Full-time Veterinarian, ideally with a focus/certification in integrative medicine. The Shelter and Sanctuary Veterinarian will split her/his time between these two organizations (1 ½ days per week for each organization) and provide services to other rescue groups, shelters, and sanctuaries at either Indraloka’s or Griffin Pond’s location (for approximately 2 days per week)…
Veterinary Nurse/ Veterinary Tech Manager
If you are committed to animal rescue, a talented veterinary professional, and a strong and kind leader, we have the job for you! Manage animal care at a leading sanctuary for farmed animals. The Veterinary Nurse/Veterinary Tech Manager reports to the Executive Director and is a highly organized, experienced Veterinary Nurse or Veterinary Technologist, holds Certification as a Veterinary Technician and is an effective leader who is responsible for managing all aspects of animal care. This includes leading, managing, and overseeing animal care as well as providing hands-on medical care.
