SUMMER CAMPS
Summers at Indraloka are full of feathers, fur, friends, and fun!
Parents and kids might have a lot of questions and we hope to answer some of them below.
Get a general idea of Summer Camp at Indraloka, of how kids spend the day, and what’s on the menu.
No 2 days are the same and no 2 kids have the same experience.
Registration is required prior to camp, and many weeks will fill quickly.

We’re offering 3 different types of Summer Camps
Kindness Camp
June 30-July 4
Ages 5-9
9:00-3:00 each day
$150 plus $25 per family member attending 7/4
Friday July 4 join your camper for a picnic in the pasture, tour, and activities!
Tween and Teen Career Exploration Camp
July 14-18
Ages 10-17
9:00-3:00 each day

Earth Camp

Kindness CAMPS
Campers will spend the week creating art, music, playing, storytelling, and adventuring alongside the rescued farm animals at Indraloka.
Activities will be geared towards kindness and compassion to others, and also to ourselves.
July 4 will be our first family fun day at camp- all family members attending will participate in a picnic in the pastures, tour, and activities.

MENU SAMPLE
We have worked carefully and successfully with food allergies. Please register and report ALL food allergies as early as possible.
Once the menu is set, we do not have the flexibility to make changes.
We will have fruit, crackers, chips, fruit snacks, pretzels, bread, and peanut butter available in case picky eaters do not like their meal. Each lunch will include a side and dessert.
There are 2 additional snack times each day.

There will be many more games and activities, many different animal visits, and art projects, but this is an overview of the day.

Depending upon the number of campers, we will split them into groups so that they get the quality time they deserve with the animals etc. Groups will be changed each day, and there will still be many activities throughout the day as a whole camp.

Tween and Teen Career Exploration Camp
Campers will spend a week interacting with Animal Caregivers, Caregiver Assistants, Facilities staff, shadow the vet and vet techs in the NEPA Rescue Veterinary Clinic, and learn about other job opportunities within the Indraloka organization.
This camp will focus on social skills, professionalism, kindness, leadership, workplace behavior, respect, goal setting, interview skills, self sufficiency, and confidence- all while having fun, playing games, learning new skills, and interacting with the animals.
Lunch and snacks will be provided, and participants will assist with their meal preparation and serving each day.
This will be a technology-free week, however arrangements can be made with staff in the case of specific individual needs for check ins with a family member throughout the camp day.
Tween and Teen Camp focuses on career exploration and diverse skills and occupations here on the grounds of the sanctuary including:

EARTH CAMP
A unique technology-free 5-day summer camp where kids ages 5-14 will enjoy a full day of outdoor adventures, cow cuddles, pig snuggles, sheep hugs, art, crafts, legos, puzzles, games, and so much more creative, playful, nature-based compassion filled fun!
A kid-friendly plant based lunch and snacks will be provided.

Preview to Earth Camp is designed for ages 5-9 only. This will be a smaller camp to increase the comfort of younger campers at the start of the summer.
Saturday, January 11 camp registration will open.
