Thanks to the support of the Robert H. Spitz Foundation, the Willary Foundation and many of our wonderful donors, construction on the medical barn has begun! The medical barn will be an extension of the NEPA rescue Veterinary Clinic and when complete, will have the facilities to care for large animals such as horses, cows, pigs, and sheep, and be available as a quarantine space. This medical barn will help alleviate the need to quarantine newly rescued animals at outside facilities, saving thousands on rescue expenses. We’ll also be able to quarantine large animals who might be on their way to another sanctuary. The outer structure should be complete in just a few weeks.
