Count Matthias Hoitytotitytot (Mattie for short) †10/6/2022 was rescued from becoming someone’s Easter dinner when he was just a few months old. When he arrived, he was suffering from terrible worms, coccidia, and other GI troubles that came from living in a dirty barn.
After several vet visits, medications, and lots of TLC, Mattie made a full recovery. He was an extremely affectionate and outgoing sheep– not very sheepish at all! In his elder years, he had lost most of his sight, but that didn’t stop him from lolling in the sunshine with his herd, grazing all day in the pasture, and enjoying his favorite foods– fresh parsley, red kale, and green onions.
Count Matthias Hoitytoitytot, an outgoing and demonstratively affectionate elder with big brown eyes, was always quick to offer a hug to anyone in need. Though he was blind, Mattie loved following his herd through the pasture, grazing all day with them. He especially enjoyed treats like parsley, red kale, and green onions.
