Kimaya is the youngest female in the goat herd, and she has been full of spirit and tenacity since the day she was rescued. Always on top of the tallest bales of hay, first to climb on rocks, and leaping on top of other goats, Kimaya is a happy being. Her father is Bapu, and he always allows her to eat the last strawberry or grape when they are sharing a treat together. He loves all of his “kids,” but he treats Kimaya with an especially sweet lightness and affection. She sleeps snuggled up with her twin brother José Timothy every night in the barn.
