On a chilly Saturday morning in early spring, a figure dropped a box at the door of the clinic. No food. No water. No protection from the elements. No note of explanation.
Inside the box were 2 baby chicks.
It was only luck that they were found within a few hours. Most Saturdays, the clinic is empty. Their fuzzy yellow bodies revealed that they were just weeks old at best.
But now, at just 3 years old, Sunshine is thriving in Mojo’s Bird Village.
He loves berries and taking dustbaths and of course, keeping a close eye on his favorite hens. Sunshine gets along well with the other roosters in Mojo’s Bird Village. He enjoys meeting new people, crowing at all hours of the day, and is enjoying a happy, healthy, life.
